MINI-GRANT APPLICATION FOR LIBRARY PROGRAMMING – 2024
The Association of Children’s Librarians of Northern California is pleased to announce our next round of Mini-grants for library programming, to be distributed in 2024. Applicants must be ACL members, and the grant applications for programs must be for children, teens, or families. Must be submitted by 3/15/24.
Grants are for special library programs that are not part of the regular budget, including (but not limited to) author or illustrator guest speakers, professional performances for families, special hands-on programming including gaming and Makerspaces, virtual programs, Stay and Play resources for storytimes, special summer learning programs, and other programs that are not customarily part of the library’s budget (such as materials and staff salaries). If grant is awarded, a brief follow-up report is due one month after the date of the event (see samples: www.bayviews.org/acl-grant-reports-daly-city-public-library/ or www.bayviews.org/acl-grant-report-cragmont-elementary-school/ ).
It should include a photo, number of people who attended, and one page on what occurred at the program and what you would do differently in the future (if anything).
