ACL Meeting Friday, October 13, 2023: Just a quick reminder for our Bay Area members! Please join us for our ACL Meeting on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, from 9:30am-Noon. We will be meeting at the Oakland Main Library, 125 14th St.
For our professional development session, Nina Lindsay of Oakland Public Library will discuss practical considerations for designing library spaces for youth. Nina is a longtime ACL member, former president of the Association of Library Service to Children (ALSC), and an library administrator.
We will also hear about the latest Outstanding books that are reviewed, and our Distinguished books.
