ACL Meeting Friday, August 14, 2026: Just a quick reminder for our Bay Area members! Please join us for our ACL Meeting on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 9:00am-Noon, at the Oakland Public Library, 125 14th St., Oakland, CA 94612. Enter through the meeting room doors on Madison Street. There is street parking available, and a parking garage on Jackson.
Our professional development will be a share-out of the summer reading program, both successes and challenges, including the incentives, the reading game, the entertainment programs, clubs and workshops, and anything else relating to your library’s summer offerings!
We will also share our Distinguished books reviewed this month, and have our booksale. Bring your checkbook or cash and boxes/totebags for the booksale!
Members who write our reviews can also pick up new books that are to be reviewed!
