Storytime Ideas
Apples
In the Fall, many Kindergarten and First Grade teachers
do a unit on apples. Preschool storytime audiences can enjoy many of
these same books. For an art project, you could so something as elaborate
as Apple print paintings - ahead of time, cut apples in half and carve
out shapes like stars, triangles, etc. Then, the children can dip the
apples into paint and do apple print pictures. For a very simple craft,
you can do leaf rubbings.
