This weekend, January 13th-15th, San Francisco Public Library and the MLK Community Foundation are collaborating to host the Black Comix Arts Festival. There will be three days of talks from comic creators, workshops for those interested in creating and publishing their own comics, and an expo where you can see – and buy – comics from all types of creators. On Saturday January 27th the Millbrae Public Library is hosting a Young Adult Novelist Convention at Carlmont High School in Belmont.
