Author Jules Feiffer Dies: Author and illustrator Jules Feiffer died at age 95 at home in New York on January 21, 2025. His many children’s books included Bark, George (Harper, 1999) and A Barrel of Laughs, a Vale of Tears (Harper, 1995). He also received the Pulitzer Prize for his cartoons, and was a noted playwright for “Little Murders” and “Carnal Knowledge.” He received an Academy Award in 1961 for his animated short “Munro.” His final book, the graphic novel Amazing Grapes and the Lost Dimension was published by HarperCollins in September, 2024.
