ACL’s Mini Grant Committee is now accepting applications for fall/winter professional development grants. While funds remain available, applications will be reviewed monthly on a rolling basis. The next review will consider all applications received by 11:59 p.m. on November 15th for events that take place in late November 2025 through February 2026.

Who may apply: Any current ACL members, including the most recent Helfeld Fellows.
How much: Grants will be awarded for $25 – $500 per person to fund travel and/or registration for conferences, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
Priority will be given to:
- Trainings/events that focus on Youth Services
- First-time attendees
How it works: Grants reimburse recipients for costs paid. Members must submit receipts to receive funds.
Recipients’ obligations to ACL:
- Provide a brief overview of what was learned from the professional development event.
- A brief follow-up report is due two months after the date of the event.
- This written report will be followed by a brief oral report at an upcoming ACL meeting.
