Hello I’m Pedro Perez . I’m from San Pablo California! I’ve worked in libraries since 2008. I’ve always been fascinated by children’s literature, children’s programming, and storytelling. I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, but I really like children’s horror novels and graphic novels. I like rainy weather, tea, celestial patterns and cats and I am excited to begin this fellowship!
Kazuko Rance
Kazuko is a future children’s librarian. She wants to create educational, engaging, and entertaining programs for children. Her love for her community extends beyond supporting literacy in children. She aims to explore multiple communities through internships to be well-rounded in her field. She would like to experience other library systems, opportunities, and positions. As a librarian, she wants to uplift marginalized communities and become a mentor.
