Body Parts Storytime Ideas (2005)

A great list of toddler and preschooler books relating to the theme of Body Parts the PUBYAC listserv is pasted below. I have it here since many would work well for a storytime! Be sure to add songs like “Head and Shoulders”, “Where is Thumbkin?” and “The Hokey Pokey.” Horns to Toes and In BetweenFor a Craft project, I would do something simple like having the children trace their hands, or make paper plate masks of their own faces, or if you have big rolls of paper and some time, adults can trace the children’s whole bodies, as they lie on their backs on the paper.
