Building Storytime – Revised
Preschoolers are fascinated with large construction vehicles, so a storytime on building things can be very engaging. For an activity, you can put out Duplo blocks for building. Rinker, Sherri Duskey. Construction Site Mission: Demolition! In this rhyming story, a rickety building must be demolished so they can build a new one.
Sheffield, Heidi W. Brick by Brick. Luis celebrates his father, a bricklayer, who is able to build a family a new home. With some Spanish words.
Sobel, June. B Is for Bulldozer. An alphabet book celebrating construction.
