Hello ACL Members!
We are excited to share news about the 2026 Institute, taking place on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at the San Francisco Public Library – Main Branch from 9 am-5 pm. This year, the committee has organized a powerful opportunity to explore resilience and resistance while centering rest, recovery, and care for ourselves and our communities.

We are happy to share the following schedule, which can also be viewed here on the website, for more details and updates:
- 9:45 – Welcome Remarks
- 10:00 – Author Joanna Ho
- 11:00 – Breakout Sessions
- 11:45 – Lunch on Your Own (or with a Friend!)
- 1:00 – Author Tony Weaver Jr.
- 2:00 – Being Heard at Work: A Collective Space to Process and Heal
- 3:00 – Somatics for Resilience
- 4:00 – Closing Remarks and Networking
🎟️ While tickets are not yet available, the following prices are in effect: $60 for ACL Members, $70 for Non-members, and $30 for Students or Paraprofessionals. Group rates are available for groups of 5 or more at the ACL member price of $60 per ticket. A limited number of scholarships will be available for anyone interested in attending; these are not limited to members. Tickets are anticipated to go on sale next week. An update will be shared along with the scholarship link! (Technology permitting 🤖)
🙌🏾 What we need from you: Please share the news with your network, consortium, or school district! Unfortunately, we were unable to book the date in time for April, so we have less time to market the Institute. The flyer attached can be shared along with the information in this email.
