Preschool Storytime Ideas
Photography Storytime
Over the next few months, this column will feature some storytime themes that go along with the Be Creative @ Your Library summer reading program theme for 2009. To me, creativity can be many things, especially anything to do with fine arts or the imagination.
This month, we will celebrate : Acting, Singing and Photography.
Below is a list of books submitted by a member of the PUBYAC listserv, that focus on photography. For an activity; you can make picture frames to take home: www.kids-rooms-and-crafts.com/crafts-for-kids.html . This is a frame made from popsicle sticks; you can also try the frame made from a CD cover but I think that craft is too difficult for preschoolers.
