Diversity Audits: Embracing data-driven stories for all.
Diversity can be a giant, overwhelming concept, but by creating a diversity audit framework for your library, you can prioritize manageable projects that enable you to evaluate whether you are truly reflecting the lives and stories of everyone in your community. We’ll walk step-by-step through the diversity audit process, with plenty of real library examples.
 
Chelsey Roos (they/them) is a children’s librarian with the Santa Clara County Library District. Chelsey uses their lived experience as an autistic adult and disability advocate to support libraries in creating truly neuro-inclusive, joyful public spaces.
