Calendar
- You are invited to our Monthly Meetings. ACL meetings are held from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Friday of each month, excluding the month of the annual institute. (typically April or May), usually at the Oakland Public Library.*
*NOTE: ACL switches meetings from Oakland to the community room at Berkeley Public Library, Central, during facility closures at the Oakland Public Library, the normal meeting location. Begining with the September 2011 meetings will held at Berkeley. Meetings may resume at Oakland beginning in May 2012. (Stay tuned for additional changes).
Berkeley meetings typically begin at 9 AM, with access available at the staff entrance on Bancroft from 8:45 to 9:15 (if arriving after 9:15, please wait until the Library opens at 10 and enter from the main entrance on Kittredge).
Oakland meetings begin at 9 AM in the West Auditorium, with access only available from Madison St.
    ** NOTE: The library does not open until noon, direct meeting access is at the West Auditorium doors only.**
The 2012 ACL Institute is currently scheduled for April 13, 2012.

Library School Students! One Institute fee refund will be raffled off to a pre-registered library school student on the day of the Institute. Check here if you're in library school to be entered in the raffle

The annual Performers' Showcase offers the opportunity to meet
and evaluate a variety of children's performers active in the Bay Area.
The next showcase is set for February 4, 2012.

We invite performers interested in participating in the upcoming Showcase to
read the 2012 Performer's Showcase FAQ (MS WORD file) and to submit a 2012 - Performer Application.
The Distinguished Books Roundups are held once a year, typically sometime toward the end of January.
